We advised Silver Spike Holdings in the transaction

Davis Polk advised Silver Spike Holdings, LP in connection with a transaction between Silver Spike Capital, LLC, an investment manager focused on the cannabis and other niche or underfollowed sectors, and Chicago Atlantic, an alternative investment manager focused on industries and companies where demand for capital exceeds traditional supply, pursuant to which a joint venture has been created to combine and jointly operate Silver Spike Capital, LLC’s and a portion of Chicago Atlantic’s investment management businesses.

In connection with the joint venture, Silver Spike Capital, LLC was renamed Chicago Atlantic BDC Advisers, LLC.
