We advised Strategic Value Partners on the cash tender offer by two funds it manages

Davis Polk advised Strategic Value Partners in connection with a cash tender offer by Strategic Value Excelsior Fund AIV, L.P. and Dime Aggregator LP, funds managed by Strategic Value Partners, to purchase up to 7,103,819 stapled units of Washington Prime Group LLC for $25.75 per stapled unit in cash.

Washington Prime Group Inc. is a retail REIT and a national leader in the ownership, management, acquisition and development of retail properties with 102 shopping centers across the United States.

The Davis Polk capital markets team included partner Nicholas Kronfeld and associate Clare Conroy. The tax team included partner Patrick E. Sigmon and associate Lex L. Varga.
